Marina Municipal Airport

The Marina Municipal Airport is the newest general aviation airport on the Monterey Peninsula. It consists of approximately 845.5 acres of property. It has been open for public use since 1995 and is dynamic and growing.

The Airport is dedicated to general aviation, business, light industry, and recreation, and is collaborating with the University of California MBEST Center to create a dynamic economic development growth center for the peninsula region.

Rules and Regulations

The City of Marina is committed to provide the safest possible atmosphere for the conduct of aviation activities for tenants, guests, residents, students, and employees at the Airport.  The purpose of the Rules and Regulations is to govern the operation and use of civilian facilities and operations at the Airport.   They are intended to be in addition to and not in conflict with any Federal, State, or local laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, or policies.

Minimum Operating Standards

These standards establish the minimum acceptable qualifications of participants, level and quality of service, and other conditions which will be required of those proposing to conduct commercial aeronautical activities at the Airport. The adoption and enforcement of such Minimum Operating Standards ensures that those individuals, or entities, engaged in commercial aeronautical activities meet certain standards.
