Eligibility and verification
You must meet both of these criteria:
65 or older and live in zip code 93933 or 93955
Why is eligibility so limited?
Monterey County Health Department has asked vaccine providers like Montage Health to target people from specific areas and age groups who are at higher risk of exposure to COVID-19 and are typically underserved when it comes to health services. When compared with the rest of the Peninsula, Seaside and Marina still have high rates of COVID-19 and are home to a higher number of those who’ve been hospitalized and/or died from COVID-19. In fact, Seaside is one of the few areas where test positivity rates are still increasing in the county. We anticipate doing more clinics that are specifically for groups like this in the future, in addition to clinics that are open to anyone who meets the current, broader county eligibility criteria, so please check back for future opportunities. You may also find appointments on the county’s website.
