Sea Haven Below Market Rate Home Open House Events

On Sunday September 17 and October 1 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, all are able to tour two homes at each of the following addresses. 2983 Bayonet Court, Marina CA, 93933 and 3002 Tyndall Way, Marina CA, 93933. Come decide which home best suits your family!

Now through 11:59 pm Sunday, October 8, 2023, interested purchasers of a Below Market Rate home can submit their interest and qualifications to be included in a lottery to establish the rank order in which potential buyers can purchase a new home in the Sea Haven community.  The rank order list will be used to offer homes for purchase as they are constructed over the next few years.The City is excited to announce the kickoff of the long awaited Sea Haven Below Market Rate homeownership program.  

On Sunday September 17 and October 1 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, all are able to tour two homes at each of the following addresses. 2983 Bayonet Court, Marina CA, 93933 and 3002 Tyndall Way, Marina CA, 93933.

Over the next 2-3 years a total of 210 townhomes and single-family homes will be available for purchase by people that meet certain income qualifications.  To learn more about the Below Market Rate housing program criteria and requirements, different models and initial prices of the homes, and how to submit your interest to the be on the Priority Registration list, visit BMR Homes on the City's website.  After reviewing the materials to see if the program is right for you, go to https://www.liveseahaven.com/neighborhoods/larkspur and click on Join the Priority Registration List to submit your interest.  Be sure to submit your interest and fill out the survey you will be provided by 11:59 pm on October 8, 2023.

People who live and/or work in Marina receive Preference Points.  Preference Points are provided for the purpose of lottery entries for households meeting the characteristics below.  A household can have up to 4 Preference Points, but only one for each category per household.   

  1. People who work at least thirty-five (35) hours per week in a business or agency with a physical location within the City of Marina.
  2. Employees of the City of Marina including reserve police officers and volunteer firefighters who work at least thirty-five (35) hours per week.
  3. Public and private educational institution employees that work at least thirty-five (35) hour per week at an educational institution within the City of Marina.
  4. People who live in Marina.

Anyone who wishes to add their interest to the Waiting List at a later date may still do so.  They will be added to the bottom of the ranked list set through the lottery.
