On 03-12-24 at about 0258 hours, a Marina PD officer conducted a traffic stop at Reservation Road and Imjin Parkway on a farm-style tank truck for a variety of vehicle code violations. The driver, Jessica Lindsey Diaz of Selma, CA (07-07-1990), was found to be unlicensed and had an outstanding felony warrant from San Juaquin County for vehicle theft. Diaz was also found to be under the influence of drugs.
The farm truck Diaz was driving was registered to an egg farm in Santa Cruz County. Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle, who was unaware the vehicle had stolen. The victim completed the stolen vehicle report to Santa Cruz County CHP. Diaz was booked into the Monterey County Jail on the following charges: 10851(a) VC – Vehicle theft, 23152(f) VC – DUI Drugs, 11364(a) HS – Possess drug paraphernalia and 12500(a) VC – Unlicensed driver. She was also booked on the outstanding felony warrant from San Juaquin County.
