In an effort to help businesses meet the requirements of the Monterey County Health Department with regards to the COVID-19, outdoor use standards will be relaxed according to certain guidelines.

The City wishes to work with local businesses to provide basic guidelines to help them to stay open while protecting public health and safety.  In an effort to help businesses meet the requirements of the Monterey County Health Department with regards to the COVID-19, outdoor use standards will be relaxed according to certain guidelines.  This is a temporary action that is strictly during the COVID-19 pandemic and will terminate when the COVID-19 local emergency is terminated by the City Council or is rescinded by the City Manager.
