Beginning March 3, 2021, the following Monterey County residents will be eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine:
- Health care workers, long-term care residents, and emergency services personnel (continued)
- Residents 65 years and older not previously vaccinated
- All residents who are at risk of exposure while working in food, agriculture, childcare, education, and emergency services (visit California Department of Health website for a list of critical infrastructure workers included in these industry sectors).
Vaccine supplies are extremely limited. Not everyone eligible for vaccination may be able to schedule an appointment until supplies increase.
