Habitat for Humanity Monterey Bay is seeking eligible candidates to apply for homeownership of a home located in a central district of the City of Marina.

Habitat for Humanity Monterey Bay is seeking eligible candidates to apply for homeownership of a home located in a central district of the City of Marina. Details are as follows:

  • 2BR/1BA single family home with attached garage 
  • Home is single story 
  • Approximately 1,100 square feet

Requirements for Ownership:

  • Family members currently live or work in the City of Marina, or in Monterey County
  • Gross Annual Income of the family must be less than 80% AMI ($81,350)
  • Family size is 3 or 4
  • Family is a First Time Homebuyer (cannot have owned a home within the last 3 years)
  • Family is willing and able to qualify for a mortgage and be able to pay up to 30% of Annual Income towards Housing Costs (mortgage payments, property taxes, insurance and HOA)
