Although applications may be submitted at any time, the filing deadline to interview for these openings is 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, postmarks will be accepted.
Applications are available from the Office of the City Clerk located at 211 Hillcrest Avenue, Marina, California between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, thru Friday, calling 884-1278, or on the City of Marina website: www.cityofmarina.org
Interviews will be coordinated between March 6-10, 2023. Final approval of appointments by the City Council is tentatively scheduled for March 21, 2023.
Recreation & Community Services Commission: 2 seats expiring February 2024 and 3 seats expiring 2025.
The Recreation and Cultural Services Commission acts as an advisory body to the City Council in the provision of recreation, cultural and public arts programs including services to seniors and youth and the implementation of art in public places. The Commission meets Quarterly at 6:15 p.m. on the first Wednesday.
