The Building Division, a division of Community Development:

Performs plan reviews
Performs Code Enforcement
Performs building inspections
Performs Residential Property Inspections (RPI)
Issues building permits

Permits

Online Permitting Portal

By clicking on the link for the Online Permitting Portal, you can apply and pay for Building Permits and Residential Property Inspection reports. By creating an account you can view permit history on addresses within the City and review the status and progress of projects.

Note: If you are a contractor, you must obtain a City of Marina Business License prior to the issuance of a permit through the HDL Online Portal. Please contact HDL directly at (831) 233-6558 for questions and further information.

Inspections

Inspections are available Monday through Friday by appointment only. Inspections are scheduled for AM (8:00-12:00 PM) or PM (1:00-4:00 PM), not specific times of day.

Code Enforcement accepts emails and phone calls at (831) 884-1292 for any code compliance concerns.
