Bicycle Registration
Welcome to the Marina Police Department Online Bicycle Registration System. We are happy to announce an online system to make it easier for community members to register their bikes and receive a bicycle registration sticker. Not only are bicycle registration stickers a deterrent to thieves, but in case your bike is lost or stolen, the registration may aide police in locating your bike. This registration is free and never expires. If you have already registered your bike, and have a sticker, you do not need to re-register.
Using this online system allows you to submit a bicycle registration and have a sticker mailed to your address, within the City of Marina. Police Department staff will approve registration forms in the order they are received. In most cases, you should expect to receive the registration sticker within 14 business days. NOTE: Bicycle registration by itself is not proof of ownership.
How to register your bike:
After reading the information below, please click here to be taken to our online registration form
Fill out as many fields as possible. Some fields are required as noted. The more information you can provide, the better!
You MUST provide a valid serial number in order to receive your registration sticker. The serial number can usually be located in one of 5 places: The underside of crank, headset, chain stay, seat tube next to crank, and top of crank. See illustrated diagram:
Please provide a correct mailing address. This is where your registration sticker will be sent.
Once you have completed and submitted the form, you will see a page the words "Thank you! Your registration has been submitted." Your registration has been accepted and will be forwarded to the appropriate staff member.
DO NOT RESPOND TO THE MARINA POLICE DEPARTMENT WITHOUT MAKING ARRANGEMENTS, YOUR STICKER MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE.
